BS Information Technology (BSIT) program is diversified program incorporating knowledge from different disciplines and perspectives. Information Technology is now integral part of every industry. It has changed the way we live and work. Rapid growth and advancements in the fields of hardware and technology have completely changed the landscape of workplaces, lifestyles and communication methods. Be it health / life sciences or defense we would see technology taking over.
For making complex decisions to managing daily operations, all small, medium and large organizations around the world now rely on information systems which are of course dependent on technology for execution. BS Information Technology or BSIT is a unique program where you will learn practical aspects of both information system and technology in order to provide technology driven support to commercial and non-commercial organizations in your career .
BS Information Technology is a four years program and consists of eight semesters.

Eligibility Criteria:
Student must have passed FA / F.Sc/ ICS / A level or equivalent (to be determined by the Equivalence Committee) from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks or 2nd division on the basis of the respective category of admission, excluding 20 marks of Hafiz-e-Quran. For the subjects of Engineering and Pharmacy etc., the minimum admission requirement is 1st division.
