World Schizophrenia Awareness Day

The Psychology department at LIST is organizing World Schizophrenia Awareness Day on 24th May 2023 to share information about this very common yet dangerous mental disorder. Schizophrenia is a chronic brain disorder the symptoms of which include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, trouble with thinking, and lack of motivation. However, with treatment, most of the symptoms greatly improve. The key here is the timely diagnosis of the disorder and proper treatment. This workshop aims to do the same for this our distinguished guest Ms Sania Kausar a gold medalist, lecturer, clinical psychologist, cognitive and behavioural therapist, clinical counsellor, expert child therapist, adult counsellor, interpersonal therapist and founder of SK counselling hub has graciously agreed to be the lead facilitator.
